Yarmouth to have new accommodation option

The King’s Head public house, Yarmouth, has closed until next spring, as work starts to create new boutique rooms above the premises.

A spokesman said: “We plan to reopen in Spring 2026 – refreshed, reimagined and ready to welcome you back. While we’d have loved to stay open, the scale and complexity of the project means it’s just not feasible to operate during the works.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you for your incredible support again this year – it truly means the world to us and, trust us, you’re going to love what’s coming!”

It is the second venue to close in the town after Salty’s announced it was shutting a fortnight ago. It is hoped this, too, will open again next year.
