WightFibre celebrates two national awards

The Wightfibre team

WightFibre has achieved a double triumph at the prestigious 2025 ISPA Awards, held at City Central at the Honourable Artillery Company in London. ISPA, the trade association for the British internet industry, is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

In a landmark year for the UK’s internet industry, WightFibre was awarded two major accolades: Best Rural Internet Service Provider and Best Fibre Infrastructure.

CEO, John Irvine, said: “WightFibre is committed to making the Isle of Wight one of the best-connected places on the planet. Winning these two awards proves that not only does WightFibre have the Best Fibre Infrastructure in the country, but couples this with great customer service to win Best Rural Service Provider.

“Thank you to ISPA UK for this recognition – it inspires us to continue pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional service to our Isle of Wight community.

“Thank you too to the WightFibre customers who completed thousands of speed tests to help us win these awards.”
