Four members of West Wight Timebank took part in a litter picking exercise at Fort Victoria last Friday (July 26).

They collected a big bucket of rubbish, especially discarded fishing nylon and wire.

All litter picking sessions are arranged through Timebank, which meets 1pm-3pm Friday afternoons in the Parish Hall, Victoria Road, Freshwater. All welcome. (No meetings on August 2 and 9).

Volunteers have also litter picked at Colwell and Freshwater Bay in the past.
