A cheque for more than £4,000 has been donated to the volunteers, who run the Community Spirited Cafe, in East Cowes.
The £4,050 cheque was presented by local IW councillor, Stephen Hendry, former chairman of the Osborne Masonic Lodge, in East Cowes, after Community Spirited was named as his charity for the year.
Community Spirited helps to care for adults in their own homes, in East Cowes and Wootton, and is run entirely by volunteers.
Jane Allchorn, who runs Community Spirited, said: “What a blessing this man is to all we do here. We were overwhelmed by his support and I’m so grateful to him for believing in the work we do for East Cowes.”
