A vibrant art centre, located in Ryde, is looking to expand its team of volunteers. Opened in March this year, Department has grown a reputation for fringe theatre.
The brain-child of carnival company, Shademakers UK, it offers a lively mix of theatre and gallery space, rehearsal and meeting rooms, artist studios and workshops.
Volunteers’ manager, Zoë Barker, explained: “When we welcomed our first group of volunteers to Department, it was a game changer. They’ve all fitted in so well and their dedication, support and enthusiasm have really helped Department to grow and thrive.”
Department is holding two events for those wishing to know more about their volunteering opportunities, Saturday 2.30pm-3.30pm and on Thursday, 10.30am–11.30am. To book, email volunteer@department-ryde.org
