Celebrity chef, Tom Kerridge, made a surprise visit to a Ventnor restaurant, when he popped in on Monday evening.

Michelin-starred Tom, a regular on the Island, dropped in to Stripped Brasserie for dinner to give husband and wife team, Ramona and Stefan Dobre, the shock of their lives.

Ramona, who serves up Mediterranean cuisine, said: “It was an unexpected and huge honour for us to host Mr Kerridge. For us, cooking and eating is about shared experiences and this was an unforgettable moment.

“A wet and miserable Monday went from ordinary to extraordinary.”

Tom is also well-known for his appearances on Masterchef, Great British Menu and Saturday Kitchen.
