Theft arrest after medication stolen from Ryde doctors

A 57-year-old man was arrested after prescription medication was stolen from Boots’ Pharmacy at the Tower House Surgery, Ryde, on Monday at around 6.45pm.
Police attended to reports of an alarm going off and officers discovered a smashed window with various empty prescription boxes inside the building.

A man was arrested on suspicion of burglary of a business and has since been released from custody but remains under investigation. A police spokesman said: “If offered prescription medication not from a pharmacy, please call 101, quoting incident number 44250486768.”
