The Vecta District Branch of the Oddfellows Friendly Society celebrated St. David’s Day in style, with a themed coffee morning and line dance.
The tables were adorned with daffodils, the national flower of Wales, the hall was decorated with the Welsh flag and bunting, and Welsh cakes were served to all with hot drinks.
A sought-after dance partner, Bill, who was kept busy on the dance floor, will be celebrating his 104th birthday this summer.
The Oddfellows would love to welcome new members, and even if not a member, you’ll be made welcome at their gatherings. They are based in the Unity Hall, Newport.
