Havant fielded a strong side with experience at a higher level and, although the home side had occasional forays into the Havant half, and missed opportunities for points, the strength of the visitors secured a victory that never looked in doubt.

Ventnor’s front row included outstanding performances by Tristan Price and George Collett who were defiant, with Dan Bell’s running deserving the AJ Wells Man-of-the-Match, with Jewy Jones having the moment-of-the-match. Ventnor travel to Overton next.
