Karma, the dog’s good luck returned, after some bad luck following a car crash in Ryde on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to the crash at 10.23pm, after reports of a two-vehicle collision at the junction of High Park Road and Arundel Road, with one of the vehicles found overturned.
Poor Karma was in a car which crashed upside down and was apparently unconscious before coming around and fleeing.

A social media appeal led to volunteers from TrackAdog, with its trusty tracker, Merlin, showing interest in a couple of directions for a short distance, before heading down High Park Road and Great Preston Road to the fields by the industrial estate.
The volunteers were helped by a drone pilot from Drone Sar for Lost Dogs IOW before Karma was located. Simon Ledger, from TrackAdog, said: “That had to be one of the hardest dog searches I’ve done!
“Volunteers from TrackAdog Team and @dronesarisleofwight conducted searches all day. Then after a potential sighting, I raced over and met up with Stu, Ben and Niall from dronesar and we could hear barking. I had to climb through 7ft high gorse for about 30-40ft before falling into a stream! But then I saw, hiding under a log in the stream, the gorgeous Karma!
“We managed to get her out somehow, and she’s been checked over by the vet and seems to be okay. Thanks to all the volunteers involved, team-work definitely makes the dream work!”
Molly Keen, on behalf of the family, said: “Karma is home safe! The biggest thank you to TrackAdog Team and Drone SAR For Lost Dogs IOW. Myself and Karma’s owners really appreciate it.”
