A new Shih Tzu club has been set up on the Island and celebrated its first meeting at Appley on Sunday.
Vicky Blanchard explained: “I’ve set up the club up because I saw the recent golden retriever walks and saw that there was no Facebook page for Shih Tzus.
“I thought I’d make one so my dog, Rocky, could socialise with his breed. We met up at Appley and all the dogs and humans got on well; there wasn’t a cross word with any of them!
“There were around a dozen of us there and more people have joined. Our next meet will be at Christmas with the best dressed pup winning a prize.”
