A seven-year-old, from Newport, has continued his running success with victory in the Junior Mini 1.4km (9/10 mile) at the recent Great South Run, in Portsmouth.
Phoenix Docksey, who attends Carisbrooke CE Primary School, only started running a year ago, and has already claimed an unofficial world record for Junior Parkrun.
He has also travelled up to the London Marathon with his school, who had several pupils running the Mini Marathon the day before the main race, a one-mile event past Buckingham Palace, up The Mall and on to the main finish line.
