Register your CCTV to help fight crime

Homeowners and businesses with CCTV security systems are being asked to register their cameras with the Nice Investigate system to help police fight crime.
The system streamlines the exchange of information to help identify and catch criminals as quickly as possible. The free service is voluntary, all information is kept secure and only police forces will be aware of the location of your cameras.

One benefit of the system is that a mobile app allows officers at the scene of a crime to instantly pull up a list of cameras nearby and send off a request to registered users to find out if they have any relevant footage that would provide evidence to help them solve the crime or prosecute any offenders.
