This week’s photograph of a beautiful peacock butterfly was taken by IW Observer reader, Paul Bradley of Brighstone, when he noticed a number of them flying around Fort Victoria on a sunny day this week.
Did you know that when threatened, the peacock butterfly makes a hissing sound, created by rubbing the veins on its forewings and hindwings together?
