Were you around Clarence Road, Wroxall, last Friday (March 13)?
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy suffered injuries to his face after being assaulted on Clarence Road, Wroxall, between 2.30pm and 3pm on Friday (March 13).
It was reported to police that the boy was attempting to cross Clarence Road when a man has stopped his car, got out of the vehicle, and shouted aggressively before punching the boy on the right side of his face. The boy suffered a bruised right jaw, cut to his ear, and chipped tooth and is recovering at home.
As part of their enquiries, police would like to speak anyone in the area at the time of the incident, including a man reportedly driving a white Ford Fiesta who they believe may be able to assist with enquiries.
He is described as:
- White
- Between 25 to 35-years-old
- Under 6ft tall
- Slim to medium build
- With a beard
