Ryde Lions Club have delivered an astonishing 2,380 pairs of spectacles destined for Africa to Chichester Lions Club.

It has taken many months to collect the glasses through opticians, libraries and even some from the general public in Ryde, Sandown and Shanklin.
After they have been collected by Ryde Lions, they deliver the spectacles to Chichester. They are then sorted by members of Chichester Lions, re-boxed and sent off to France for final grading before being sent to the African continent.
