The IW Observer team has been busy this year attending many Island events and gathering feedback from our amazing readers.
We’re dedicated to bringing you all the latest news and events happening on the Island, and we absolutely love hearing your words of support and ideas for improvements – some of which are in the works!
But one message that came through loud and clear is that some loyal readers didn’t know they could get a free digital subscription to their favourite newspaper.
As well as providing your local weekly newspaper free of charge, our mission at the IW Observer is to provide low-cost advertising options to Island businesses. To cover all our production, printing and distribution costs, we rely on the income from our advertisements. So, unlike a paid-for newspaper, we can’t print an unlimited number of copies.
To give you an idea of our widespread reach, we distribute a whopping 18,500 copies of our newspaper every week, and we’re thrilled to have nearly 5,000 digital subscribers who receive their newspaper to their email inboxes every Friday. To put that in perspective, the IW County Press only sold just over 11,500 copies a week last year.
So, if you ever find yourself without a copy of the IW Observer because your local shop has run out, or if you simply prefer the convenience of reading your newspaper on-line, sign up for our free digital subscription. We promise we will never spam you or sell your email addresses to any other organisation.
Visit iwobserver.co.uk/subscribe to join our growing community of on-line readers and never miss an issue again.
