Huge crowds attended the recent Shorwell Midsummer Fair, which changed venue for the first time in its 60-year history with a move to Wolverton Manor.
The move to Wolverton Manor didn’t deter the crowds, which enjoyed the sunshine and the fair made an incredible £14,000, which will be distributed in the local community at the Shorwell Midsummer Fair committee’s annual meeting in September.
Organiser, Ben Lambert, said: “The committee would like to thank all the helpers, especially Jane and Mark Patterson, the owners of Wolverton Manor, without whom the event wound not have been such a success.
