More than 60 motorbikes took part in Saturday’s Lance Daish Memorial Ride, in aid of the Hampshire & IW Air Ambulance.
Lance, 51, died following a collision near his home in Shalfleet on August 11, 2022, and his son, Keetan, organised the event. The rideout started at Chale Recreation Ground and continued along the Forest Road, through Newport, and onto the IW Community Club, Cowes, for a reception.
The ride was led by the family in a car which included his wife, Lisa, daughter, Kelly, Keetan and Keetan’s partner, Sydney. They were followed by other members of Lance’s close family, including his parents and brother. His other son, Sean, supported the event from Chicago.
A total of £1,476.15 plus £71.25 Gift Aid was raised from the event, which also included a grand raffle. Stuart Dunn and Jesse Hayles led the marshals during the ride.
