Island fund-raiser, Macie Edkins-Wherry, has raised more than £2,000 from her latest raffle.
Teenager Macie, from Newport, will be dividing the £2,200 equally between IW Defibrillators, Mountbatten and The Fire Fighters Charity.
Mum, Dana, said: “Thank you so much to everyone who bought tickets, donated prizes and shared the post. It helped raise a whopping £2,200 which means Macie’s chosen charities will receive £440 each.
“We could not have done it without you all; we are overwhelmed by the amount especially because everyone is really feeling the pinch at the moment. Myself and Macie will see you all again for our Easter Draw and hope you can continue to support us in the future!”
