The family of a motorcyclist, who was involved in a single-vehicle fatal collision on the Military Road last month, have paid tribute to the 70-year-old.
Robert Ian Forman, from Carisbrooke, was riding a blue Honda on Wednesday, August 16, around 3.23pm, when it left the carriageway near Whale Chine.
The bike came to rest in a roadside ditch but Mr Forman suffered serious injuries and sadly died.
His wife said: “My husband, Robert Ian Forman, fondly known as Ian, was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.”
