Love your car? Take it to the Festival of Transport

The Isle of Wight Steam Railway is hosting its annual Festival of Transport on May 22.

Bringing together a wealth of vehicles, both historic and modern, the ever-popular event is a celebration of motoring.

Everything that will be on display is someone’s pride and joy, from the vintage truck and old fashioned bicycle to a modern-day beautifully polished car.

Entry to the festival is free and includes entry to the station and the railway’s Train Story museum. Normal ticket prices apply for those wishing to travel on the steam train.

The Railway are keen to welcome a wide range of different vehicles and their owners. If you own an interesting car, lorry, motorbike, bus or even a steam roller or milk float, then you’re invited to join in the festivities.

Contact Liz Target if you’d like to exhibit your vehicle at LizT@iwsteamrailway.co.uk to reserve a place. Further information can be found online at iwsteamrailway.co.uk.
