Vicky and Paul Butler, of Right at Home (Isle of Wight), have won the Community Impact Award at the 2025 UK British Franchise Awards.
The judges praised the couple for their extensive community work, including the Independent Living Show, which has grown over three years to attract more than 500 attendees, their Dementia Afternoon Tea Club, and Community Christmas 2024, which brought 48 people together for lunch on Christmas Day, thanks to donations from local businesses and individuals.
Right at Home, founded in 2010 and franchised in 2011, now has 70 franchise owners across 85 areas. The company provides premium homecare services to help people live independently and with dignity. In 2024, it was named Franchisor of the Year – Established.
Vicky said: “Paul and I are in complete shock about our win. It was a privilege to be short-listed, and we are unbelievably proud to now be award winners. This recognition would not have been possible without our incredible team, who work so hard to provide the highest standards of care and support the wider community.”
The CEO of the British Franchise Association, Pip Wilkins congratulated the Butlers, calling them “shining examples of successful, ethical franchising.”
The awards are regarded as the ‘Oscars of franchising’, recognising excellence in a sector worth £19.1 billion to the UK economy.
