Ladies – get free help to boost employability and confidence

By IW Observer.co.uk May 21, 2022

If you’re a lady of any age who needs a little help to get back into the workplace, or indeed start work for the first time, then the Suit Yourself course could be just what you need.

The course is completely free as it is funded by Southwestern Railways, and is held in the community room at Sandown’s railway station, so it is very easy to get to and even has free parking.

Managed by Bobby Lock-Dean, and delivered by Fran Shelley, the course consists of a small supportive group of ladies meeting over 10 weeks and is designed to boost your confidence and employability. You will learn listening skills, assertiveness, CV writing and interview techniques. There will be a visit to the Isle of Wight College and, to help you make the most of your new found skills, there is a free make-over session with a goody bag – and you’re bound to make some new friends. The course finishes with a group celebration meal and presentation of certificates.

Suit Yourself has been running since 2008 and has resulted in some great success stories.

If you would like to book a place or just to find out more, take that first step back into the world of work and call Fran on 07970 009816 or email her on Frances.shelley@icloud.com.

The start date is Thursday, June 9 and the session runs from 10am to 1pm.
