IW Lottery all grown up and ready to play

Way back in 2001, something called the Isle of Wight lottery was born. Unlike other lotteries, this one not only gave its players a far better chance of winning, but was also designed to give back to the Island community that supported it.

Since its inception, the Isle of Wight Lottery has given away more than ÂŁ2 million in prize money to support local businesses, with over ÂŁ100,000 being won each year. Now, 18 years later, the Isle of Wight Lottery is growing up!

As a player you can still win the ÂŁ1,000 main prize or one of 10 ÂŁ100 prizes each week. You can also still be entered into the monster ÂŁ5,000 and ÂŁ10,000 draws before Christmas, a handy time to have some extra cash. But you need to be in it to win it, and it only costs ÂŁ1 a week to play!

The Isle of Wight Lottery, run by the Island’s Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, has provided interest free loans to almost 100 companies, providing almost a £1million for Island businesses. It’s helped start, grow and sustain many businesses, some of which are household names to Islanders and beyond nowadays, while also creating and sustaining thousands of jobs.

With a new website under construction, easier ways to play and more great prizes coming up, the Isle of Wight lottery is progressing to adulthood looking better than ever.
