It’s a wrap for the Beast Must Die

Director Dome Karukoski shouted ‘That’s a wrap’ and with those words the filming for the BritBox series ‘The Beast Must Die’ came to an end this week.
As previously reported, a total of 600 hours were filmed over the 61-day shoot on the Island at a variety of locations from Yarmouth to Ventnor, taking in places like Alum Bay, the Military Road, Culver Down and Compton along the way.

Access to the set was restricted, because of Covid, but BritBox has now released the first set of stills showing the all-star cast. The five-part series stars Jared Harris, Geraldine James, Cush Jumbo, Maeve Dermody, Nathaniel Parker and Billy Howle.

The plot tells the story of a grieving mother who infiltrates the life of the man she believes killed her son.

There were 190 cast and crew on set over the last two months, as well as hundreds of Islanders having parts as extras in the production.
