Around 1,500 cars took part in Sunday’s IW Takeover held at The County Showground, Northwood.
The car show has been running for around eight years and organiser, Adam Stewart, who has been involved since 2018, said: “It originally started when three friends met up at the Yarbridge Pub, Brading, and just took off from there.
“At first, it was only open to Fords, but after Covid we decided to make it an open event to get the numbers up.
“It’s a chance for people to come over and visit the Island, and stay here for a few days to boost campsites and businesses.
“Our event is a showcase for the vehicles but people are welcome to drive around the Island and appreciate the stunning scenery.”
Around 3,000 people attended, with a party on Saturday night, featuring a burlesque display and fireworks. The event also raised money for the Wessex Cancer Trust with around £500-£600 going to the charity.
