Ten Scouts from 1st Godshill & Rookley gave up the comfort of a bed for the night on Saturday, March 28, to experience a glimpse of the harsh realities of homelessness faced by veterans.
The Scouts built makeshift shelters from pallets, trellis, tarpaulins, and cardboard, before braving the elements overnight.
The event was part of a UK-wide fund-raising campaign, in which participants sleep outdoors to raise awareness of homeless veterans and raise money to support them.
The Scout Group raised £200, which will be donated to Royal British Veterans Enterprise (RBVE).
