Freshwater turns out despite heavy weather

Freshwater residents, businesses, and community groups turned out in force for the village’s late-night Christmas shopping evening, on Friday December 5, despite relentless rain.

Shops opened, stallholders set up, artists stayed the course, and councillors worked with staff to keep the evening moving.

The children of Freshwater & Yarmouth School gave a performance in the library.

Despite the weather, the evening was a success, with another event planned for next Friday (December 19).
