Local historian, Tim Wander, will be giving a talk at the Isle of Wight College on Thursday (Oct 20), on PLUTO (Pipeline Under the Ocean), which was one of the most ambitious engineering projects of World War II.
Admission to the event is free and there is also plenty of free parking. A small donation to the IW branch of the Royal Aeronautical Society would be appreciated. Doors open at 5.30pm. For more information contact secretary@aerosocietyiow.co.uk.
