Former Warwickshire Fusilier Eddie Gavin and his wife Rosemary of Newport received certificates marking 40 years of collecting for the Royal British Legion’s (RBL) Poppy Appeal last Friday (Oct 30). The certificates were presented by Chairman of Newport RBL, Ernie Howard.
The couple moved to the Island from London several years ago and continued with their work for the annual Poppy Appeal.
