Exciting new Young People’s Performing Arts Group launched

Tide Nor Time Players CIC, in collaboration with Carisbrooke Castle Museum, and with funding support from the IW Council’s Early Help Grant, has announced the launch of a new Young People’s Performing Arts Group. This exciting initiative, designed for young people aged 13 to 19, aims to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive performing arts community led by the young people themselves.

The new group will provide an empowering platform where young people can take charge: from selecting performances to overseeing staging, direction, and budgeting. With professional mentoring and full supervision, participants will gain valuable experience and skills in all aspects of performing arts production.

Their mission is to foster diversity, inclusion, and the encouragement of artistic expression. The group will be a safe space for young individuals of all experience levels to explore their creativity and build confidence through the performing arts.

To introduce this initiative, they are hosting an open night where potential members and their parents are invited to join them.

The event will feature a detailed presentation about the group, followed by a Q&A session.

Join up for an exciting new chapter and be part of a dynamic community where young people lead, create, and inspire through the performing arts.

The event takes place on August 16, from 6.30pm, at the Carisbrooke Castle site. Book your free tickets on-line via tidenortime.uk/open-night-2024.
