The Newport Quay Hotel was evacuated in the early hours of Wednesday morning after fire broke out in its kitchen.
Two crews from Newport were joined at the hotel in Quay Street by firefighters from Cowes, Ryde and East Cowes around 4.30am.
The hotel was evacuated and the firefighters used breathing apparatus, two hoses, a thermal imaging camera and specialist equipment to put out the fire and ventilate the property.
