Catenians and clergy

1 min read

The Island’s Catholic clergy were invited to the annual IW Catenians clergy night at the Island Sailing Club, Cowes.

Among those who attended were Fr Steven Restori (Dean and co-ordinating pastor of the Island), Fr Nishan Edward (St Saviour’s, Totland and St Thomas of Canterbury, Newport), Fr Stephen Vooght (South Wight), Fr John Catlin (retired), Fr Jonathan Redvers Harris (Cowes and East Cowes), and Sisters Margarida and Catherine (Verbum Dei, Carisbrooke).

The guests were welcomed by the Catenians’ president, Eddie McMahon, who spoke about the close relationship between the association and the clergy.

The Catenians is a world-wide network of Catholic men who meet regularly to enjoy each others’ company and to help and support each other throughout the world.
