Police are appealing for witnesses after it was reported that a man walked out of Tesco Express on the High Street in Ryde with two bottles of wine that had not been paid for. The incident took place on Thursday, October 16, at around 9.50am.
Three days later on Sunday, October 19, at around 5.10pm, the same man has reportedly taken items of food from the same store and left without paying.
Following enquiries, police are now able to share an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
He is described as,
- Between 30 to 40-years-old
- Around 6’0” tall
- White
- Slim build
- Short, dark brown hair
- Walking with the assistance of a crutch
