A live country music concert in aid of Age UK IW will take place at the Apollo Theatre, Newport, on Saturday.
Nashville Nights will see the acoustic trio of Steve Young, Savannah Gardner, and fiddle player, Jade Cuthbert, perform a tribute to American country music legends, featuring well-known classics and original songs. The evening will also include support from Island musician, Angelina Grimshaw.
The fund-raising concert has been organised by charity supporter, Steve Double, with proceeds helping Age UK IW continue its work supporting older people across the Island, including tackling loneliness and helping people remain independent.
Maria Bunce, chief officer at Age UK IW, said events such as this both bring people together and help raise vital funds for services supporting older Islanders.
The show starts at 7.30pm (doors open 6.30pm). Tickets cost £16.50 and can be booked on-line via iw.observer/nashville-nights.
