Serving military personnel and veterans attending local Remembrance Sunday events on Sunday can travel for free on all South Western Railway (SWR) services, including Island Line.
Serving personnel travelling to the Cenotaph in London can also travel on any London-bound SWR service for free on the day before the service, returning from London on Sunday.
This offer, funded by the Department for Transport, is available to anyone travelling in uniform or showing an appropriate form of identification.Current serving personnel must be in uniform or present a MOD90 Ministry of Defence-issued card. Veterans should present a Veterans Railcard, Oyster Card, MoD-issued Veterans ID card or another form of identification proving the customer is a veteran, such as proof of pension.
The offer does not apply to companions/spouses or dependents.
