Sandown Bay Academy hosted an evening of top-quality wrestling, with more than 100 spectators enjoying seven contests during an adrenaline-fuelled event.
Organiser, Matt Jackson (Jackson Arrow), from Outcast Pro Wrestling, said: “I started watching in 2011 and have been hooked ever since, getting professionally trained in Portsmouth, and now helping up-and-coming wrestlers, as well as staging shows.”
The ‘September Sin’ event showcased local talent, and provided an opportunity to settle rivalries, as well as giving the expectant crowd the chance to see, first-hand, the breadth and depth of wrestling ability on the Island.
Wrestler, Liam Simons (DJB), added: “I got interested 8½ years ago. Mum thought this would be of interest, and I’ve been involved ever since. These evenings are really family-friendly and very competitive.”
