Local gym, Snap Fitness IW, has thanked the generosity of the local community after donating more than 100 Easter eggs to St Mary’s Hospital.
The Easter eggs will be shared out across the paediatric ward and paediatric A&E departments, and will be gratefully received by young patients and members of staff who will be in the hospital across the Easter weekend.
The gym, located in Towngate Retail Park, rallied its members together by collecting the Easter eggs via a dedicated drop-off area set up in the gym’s reception area. After gathering the eggs over the past few weeks, staff from Snap Fitness dropped off the eggs to the team at St Mary’s Hospital.
Victoria Coles, club manager at Snap Fitness IW, said: “As a local business ourselves, we understand the importance of giving back and we’re looking forward to some further charity activity in the coming months.”
