Island art on show

The Fairwinds art exhibition is taking place over the weekend of April 23-24, with a ticketed drinks and canapes reception on Friday, April 22. The reception will include a special auction of nine paintings donated by Island artists, and a prize draw in which ticket holders can win Island goodies, donated by local companies, including local produce hampers and Mermaid Gin.
To win a pair of tickets to the reception, each worth £35, answer this question, ‘Where is the Fairwinds Art Exhibition being held?’ The answer is somewhere in this paper.
Send your answer, name and phone number by email to competition@iwobserver.co.uk, or text 07469 629071; alternatively you can call the same number and leave a message. Competition closes at 9am on Friday, April 8.

See a fantastic production

The Island Savoyards return to Shanklin Theatre from April 14-18 with a spectacular show. It is one of the most musically-challenging pieces the company has undertaken and the large ensemble and additional choir rehearsed for several months to learn the complex harmonies.
For a chance to win a pair of tickets to the show, answer the following question, ‘What production is it that the Island Savoyards are showing?’ The answer is somewhere in this paper.
Send your answer, name and phone number by email to competition@iwobserver.co.uk, or text 07469 629071; alternatively you can call the same number and leave a message. Competition closes at 9am on Friday, April 8.

The two winners for the Sandown Sprint VIP wristband competition are Bryan Greaves from Sandown and Pamela Clements from Newport.
