Burglaries in Cowes may have been connected

Tools were stolen from this building

Police are investigating two Cowes businesses, targeted by burglaries overnight on Sunday, which may have been connected.

A café, which was being renovated on Bath Road, was broken into and Makita tools were stolen.

The Cowes Combined Services and Social Club on Cowes High Street was also burgled. A till insert was stolen but did not contain any cash.
