Weather KOs Hovertravel morning services

The surge tide and unsettled weather that sparked an overnight flood warning has on Wednesday morning (November 7) led to Hovertravel cancelling their hovercraft service.

The service has been suspended due to adverse weather and the situation is being reviewed every half hour.

One Hovertravel season ticket holder who did not wish to be named said she was not given a complimentary ticket on for the Wightlink FastCat service when she travelled on Wednesday morning.

Ferry services from Funnel and Wightlink are running normally. Wightlink has warned their Yarmouth to Lymington service may be affected by high winds in The Solent.
