In rugby, Sandown & Shanklin Hurricanes welcome bottom placed New Milton in Division One. Isle of Wight are visiting United Services Portsmouth, in Division Two, and Ventnor are home to Tottonians in Division Three. Sandown & Shanklin 2nd XV face neighbours Ventnor 2nd XV in Premier South.
Hockey
In hockey, IW Men’s 1st XI are away to Bournemouth in Central Division Two, and the 2nd XI away to Havant in Solent One.
The Women’s 1st XI are home to Winchester in Division Two South, and the 2nd XI are next playing in 2025.
Parkrun
Parkrun returns to Seaclose Park and Medina Sports Field this weekend, weather permitting, with the 5km (3 miles) event starting from 9am.
Runners are welcome to enjoy a post-run coffee at the John Cheverton Centre Café, at Mountbatten, after the run.
