The IW Classic Motor Show returns this year tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday, September 8, and is open from 10am to 4pm both days.
The extravaganza will be based on Newport Quay tomorrow, and Ryde Esplanade on Sunday, and will be free to attend.
It’s a must-visit for all petrol heads and history buffs, with the two-day charity event, bringing together the best classic vehicles from all over the UK and Europe. You’ll get to see an eclectic range of around 1,000 vintage, custom, retro and rare cars, taking you on a step back through time to the golden age of motoring.
The event, now in its 23rd year, is a tribute to the show’s founder, the late Victor Gallucci. Newport Carnival organiser, Paddy McHugh, has continued the show after taking up the baton last year. Local acts will be performing live on a stage at each venue.
Saturday boasts band, High School Never Ends, and artist, Charlene Duncan. Sunday’s line up includes Sarah Kelly and band The Signal Men.
