Tapnell Farm pumpkin fun

Celebrate the humble pumpkin this Hallowe’en with Tapnell Farm during the half-term holidays from October 21-31.

Entry and parking for the festival is free, and so are some activities such as ‘ball in a hole’ and ‘guess the weight of the pumpkin’.

Other activities such as ‘hook a pumpkin’, ‘pumpkin can alley’, ‘pumpkins in a bucket’, ‘ring toss’ and ‘axe throwing’ can be paid for using special tokens purchased at the event.

Each token purchased will be included in a prize draw on November 1 to win winter season family passes (four people) for the park.

There will also be Hallowe’en pottery painting for £4 per person.

Back for another year is ‘Pick Your Own Pumpkin Patch’, and you can stay and carve your pumpkin for free as part of the festival.

Prices of pumpkins vary according to size: small £3, medium £5, and large £7 (card payments only).

A licensed bar is open from 11am-4pm, and food is available from The Garden Mobile Kitchen. You can view the menu via iow.life/gardenmenu.

There will be live acoustic cover music from bands such as Claydon Connor and Hanging Baskets from 12noon-2pm daily. You can see the full line-up via iow.life/pumpkinmusic.

This is a standalone event taking place in the Events Barn. No booking required. No entry in to Farm Park.
