On Sunday a dedicated group of cyclists and walkers embarked on a challenging journey organised by W Hurst & Son to raise funds for the Daisy Chains IW charity.
Cyclists set off on an impressive 60-mile ride, visiting each of the six Hurst branches across the Island. Meanwhile, those unable to cycle took on a 7.5-mile walk from Sandown to the Newport store. Their efforts have raised approximately £1,900 so far!
Daisy Chains IW provides essential support to families facing extraordinary challenges. They offer emotional guidance, practical advice, and financial assistance for expenses such as travel to specialist care on the mainland. They work tirelessly to improve the quality of life for children by providing essential equipment and creating unforgettable experiences.
Donations are still being accepted and can be made via iw.observer/hurst-daisy-chains.
