‘Day by Day’ Isle of Wight art movie installation seeks your images

Submit your own photos and video clips for a promotional ‘Day by Day’ Isle of Wight art movie installation.

An on going ‘Day by Day’ movie made up of video clips of the Isle of Wight is being compiled by artist Tim Bristow (BB Bango) in Bembridge.

The intention is that this changing movie like ‘The Clock’ 24 hour movie by Christian Marclay, now showing to huge crowds at Tate Modern in London, will become a movie that helps promote, the Isle of Wight to the world as a fantastic, quirky, edgy and warm holiday destination all year round!

The aim is to get a video clip for every day of the year, put them together with original
music and other older clips and make an original movie art installation which can be
shown online, all over the Island and overseas.

A 23 minute demo version covering ‘50 Wight Days’ has been put together using clips
from the last 120 years and could provide the basis for the 365 day version.

This demo, in four parts, can be seen in the ClayClay Shop in Bembridge or online at
www.Vimeo.com (use search term ‘Wight 365 Days‘ to find it) and uses movie clips
from video streaming sites, home movies, actual movies and TV programmes made in or featuring the Isle of Wight.

Original music is by The Espada Rolls Band from their ‘Abstract Music’ Album.

Please send in your photos or up to ten minute clips, on USB stick preferably, with a date and caption, to ClayClay 15 High St, Bembridge PO35 5SD or via the web site www.IsleofWightFilmBoard.co.uk and they will edit and incorporate in the movie which is being updated all the time.
