In celebration of the Love Island final, Red Funnel are allowing customers from the mainland AND the Island to travel on the Red Jet for free.
For the next two weeks, if you happen to share a name with the Love Island winners – Dani and Jack – you can travel free on Red Funnel.
A spokesman for Red Funnel said: “Pack your things and head to the Isle of Wight, FREE between July 31 and Aug 12.
“Just show up to our Red Jet ticket office in Southampton and show us your photo ID for a free return foot passenger crossing aboard our Hi-Speed Red Jet ferry.
“Stay for the day or have yourself a mini-break.”
Red Funnel are also accepting derivations of the name.
Variations of the spellings
The spokesman continued: “We appreciate that your friends and family may call you “Dani” or “Jack” (with variations of spelling)… However, your name may well appear differently on your photo ID. For this reason, if your name is on the list below, we’re happy to give you the offer too, because we’re #real and #loyal (babe).
“Danni, Dannielle, Daniel, Danny, Dan, John (we recognise “Jack” is a popular nickname for John), Jac, Jacques, Jackie, Jacquie, Jackelyn, Jaquline… all qualify for this offer too.”
Already live on the Island?
Don’t worry fellow Islanders! If you already live on the Isle of Wight and your name qualifies for the offer, you can Jet yourself to Southampton and back for free.
Terms and Conditions:
Offer valid for Red Jet foot passenger travel only. Valid for crossings from 11:15am between July 31 and August 12, 2018. Customers must show valid government issued photo identification or student (photo) card at the ticket office to receive the offer.
A second piece of non-photo ID may be required.
Red Funnel ticket office staff reserve the right to withhold offer if proof of name is indeterminate. New bookings only. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Standard conditions of carriage apply.
Red Funnel reserves the right to amend or withdraw this promotion without prior notice. Please note that passenger travelling for free does not count toward the Super Off-Peak travel rate extension for other passengers in their party.
