An Island business has won its 100th client after 30 months of trading.

The Island based graphic Design, print and website business, IW Design and Print has grown rapidly since it started trading at the beginning of January 2016, says owner Martin Timbers.

With no equipment and no clients, it was a tough beginning for the startup company.

But eventually, the hard work paid off and IW Design and Print to became a “thriving business” which picked up an award in the Start Up Business of the Year category at the Chamber of Commerce Business in Excellence Awards at Cowes Yacht Haven, at the end of last year.

Mr Timbers said: “I can’t believe how quickly my business has grown. I think it’s been a combination of hard work, honesty, quality, price and excellent customer service.

“If you get this mix right then you stand a good chance of your business growing and surviving in today’s competitive market.”

IW Design and Print is also part of the Chamber of Commerce’s Over 50’s Start Up Programme and are the first of their businesses to win an award.

The company who is “thrilled” to be sharing in IW Design and Prints success by becoming their 100th client is Just for you Holiday Homes – another Island based business and a brand new business for company owners Justine Ireland and Melanie Lewis.

Justine Ireland managing director of Just for you Holiday Homes, said: “I am thrilled to be working with Martin of IW Design & Print, having such talent here on the Island is such a bonus, especially when starting out.”
